The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Student Assistant to join our team of professionals.
Duties to include:
Routine monitoring of the Academic Advising Email.
Organizes and maintains confidential files for the Academic Advising team.
Creates calendar invitations using Microsoft Outlook.
Assists with obtaining information needed for parking pass.
Provides support for special projects related to Academic Advising and Alumni Teaching.
Assists with verifying if advisors have completed student folio by checking Excel sheets.
Ability to create PowerPoint presentations, flyers, and track monthly meetings.
Supports the planning of annual events for advisors and students.
Maintains a tracking of scheduled appointments on Booking.com
Provides assistance and support for the advisors.
Perform related duties as assigned

Customer service knowledge
None to basic level of Microsoft Word.
Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
