Purpose
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist in our manufacturing environment, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to meet our operational and strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and execute effective recruitment strategies that align with our company culture and values.
Main Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates for various roles in a manufacturing environment.
Recruitment Process Management: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and screening resumes to interviewing candidates, consulting hiring managers, extending offers, and completing pre-hire processes.
Candidate Assessment: Utilize behavioral and technical assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit for the organization.
Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop targeted recruitment plans, and provide guidance on selection processes.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews, providing guidance to hiring managers on best practices for candidate evaluation.
Employer Branding: Promote the company's employer brand through various channels, including career fairs, and community events, to enhance our visibility.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance with all recruitment policies and procedures.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
Diversity and Inclusion: Support initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion within the workforce by implementing targeted outreach and recruitment strategies.
Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and online recruitment tools is a plus.
