Job Summary:
We're searching for a deadline-driven Supply Chain Coordinator motivated by the challenge of creating and meeting schedules driven by customer demand. You'll play an integral role providing feedback to manufacturing and customer service.
We'll look to you to take ERP system demands and create manufacturing orders and schedules to meet customer delivery dates. Our company values our people and their ideas. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple levels of our organization and learn and monitor the business systems from order entry to delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
Utilize SAP to create and maintain production orders for multiple inter-related departments.
Work with multiple customer service representatives to prioritize production orders, provide lead time quotes to meet customer delivery targets, and give feedback to customer service on order status and progress.
Follow-up as required with all production leaders to expedite orders to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
Complete status reports and data analysis using Excel and Access to review and evaluate production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory and finished goods demand.
Apply problem solving skills to reconcile production order and inventory discrepancies within SAP and other business systems.
Inspect and receive incoming product
Conduct inventory analysis as well as administer cycle count for plates, hardware, raw materials, and other wear products
Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality, and productivity.
Potential for other responsibilities including but not limited to ISO internal auditing and logistics.
Job Skill Requirements:
Must be proficient in Excel. Familiarity with MS Access a plus.
Must have a detailed understanding of ERP systems. SAP experience a plus.
Education or equivalent experience in supply chain or production planning and scheduling

Represent Company interests at all times and be sensitive to customer satisfaction (understand strong sense of urgency and importance of follow-up)
Possess strategic, logical, and methodical thinking for problem solving, organization, time management, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills, while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Communicate effectively (verbal & written), work independently or as a team member, maintain a high degree of accuracy while performing under pressure in time sensitive environments.
Work day starts at 7:00 am or earlier.
Physical Abilities and Environment:
Position performed indoors in an office environment, however, frequent visits to the manufacturing plant facility are required, which includes exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position are to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs, possibly lift up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment.
