The Quality Lead Technologist position performs all duties of the Imaging Technologist in addition to developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality and Safety standards, processes and workflows, student and employee onboarding, and training and competency requirements. The Quality Lead provides all quality assessment activities for the assigned modality in addition to the maintenance of accreditation and regulatory requirements. The Quality Lead Technologists for each modality will collaborate to develop and maintain a consistent and robust Quality and Safety program for all Imaging Services operations. Reporting to the Imaging Services Associate Director of Quality and Safety, this Quality Lead Technologist will foster a just culture and culture of safety to develop an effective and reliable quality and safety program structure through the involvement of stakeholders and defining program goals. In partnership with the Department of Radiology Leadership, the Quality Lead Technologist will integrate continuous quality improvement and learning into the department and assigned modality across the organization, while prioritizing patient and referring clinical experiences to enhance outcomes. This individual will view high-quality care as safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Advanced Registry in modality required, if applicable. Current Radiography ODH license required.
Minimum -
Associates Degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum 2 years of experience in modality over which the employee is a lead.
