Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a highly skilled Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer passionate about creating innovative web solutions. You will work on mid-to-large-scale web applications using modern frameworks and tools, collaborating closely with agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)


• 5+ years of professional web development experience


• Proficiency in Angular 2+ and modern front-end frameworks


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills


• Experience in software engineering with a focus on object-oriented design


• Understanding of and commitment to testing methodologies and quality assurance


• Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end graphics development and INT GeoToolkit


• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes


• Background in oil and gas, particularly in drilling or geological applications


• Experience developing scientific applications


• Proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, and Web API

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
