Position Overview: The Superintendent, Construction Water and Waste Water Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants and water treatment plant designs.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants including the installation of pipes, pumps, meters, and other related equipment.
Develop and manage the construction schedule, budget, quality, safety, and other related activities.
Inspect construction sites and ensure compliance with applicable safety and health regulations.
Manage the selection and training of construction personnel.
Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications.
Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
Coordinate with other departments and personnel to ensure project completion.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in construction.
Expertise in water and wastewater treatment plant designs.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of applicable safety and health regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
