Loyal Source Government Services is looking for a Director, Network Trainer to work at our corporate office in Orlando, FL.
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing oversight of all provider/examiner training and development for a nationwide medical/clinical program. The role involves developing training content, monitoring examiner performance, and representing the organization in high-level communications with the VA. The Director will also perform Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) as needed to maintain currency and assist with special/priority cases.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS • Provide oversight of all provider/examiner training and development for a nationwide medical/clinical program. • Manage and directly contribute to the development of training content. • Monitor examiner production, timeliness, and quality trends to identify areas for improvement and new training requirements. • Serve as Chairperson of the Medical Review Board. • Principal deputy to the MDE Medical Director. • Represent Loyal Source Government Services in communications with VA clinical and Quality leadership. • Perform Medical Disability Examinations as needed to maintain currency and assist with special/priority cases. • Travel up to 20%.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • MD or DO (current license / board certification). • Minimum of 5 years of experience performing VA Compensation & Pension exams, either as a VA employee/contractor or in support of the Medical Disability Exam (MDE) program. • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA). • Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and development of physicians or other clinical personnel (e.g., experience as an instructor or professor, or experience developing training materials/content).
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS • MBA, MPH, or JD. • Prior military service (Honorably discharged or retired U.S. Veteran, or currently serving Reservist / Guardsman).
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSA) • Strong clinical and training oversight capabilities. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Ability to develop and manage training content. • Strong monitoring and analytical skills to identify trends and training needs. • Effective leadership and team management skills. • Proficiency in representing organizational interests in high-level communications. • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) and other clinical personnel within the training and development program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands of this role align with general office work. This includes talking or hearing, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, lifting, and/or moving up to 25 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and reaching. The employee may be requested to visit different locations, which may require flying and driving.
