Salary: $100,000 to $150,000, based on education and experience
An established mid-sized engineering firm in Roseville, CA, is seeking a Low Voltage Technology Systems Designer. This role focuses on producing high-quality construction documents for various projects, including K-12 schools, public utilities, commercial buildings, and state facilities. The Designer will be responsible for designing assigned projects and collaborating with construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and document low voltage technology systems such as data, voice, security, and fire alarms.
Conduct field surveys and site studies.
Ensure all designs meet Division 27 and 28 standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with clients, architects, and internal teams on RFIs, ASIs, addendums, and project closeouts.
Create BIM models and AutoCAD drawings, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
Participate in project coordination meetings and uphold industry standards.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Revit (2019-2024), AutoCAD (2020-2024), Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam PDF software.
Architecture or Engineering degree, or 5+ years of related experience.
Strong communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
BICSI RCDD, NICET, or CTS certification.
Knowledge of Construction Management, Construction Administration, and DSA processes.
Manufacturer-specific training and certifications.
