Job Description:

Purpose

Analyze forecasted product demand, plans, and prepares production schedules for the manufacture and shipment of products to the customer in the most efficient, economical manner in accordance with company goals and objectives. Coordinate material and production activities to ensure adequate inventories to manufacture and pack orders.

Job Responsibilities
• Uses independent judgment to plan production operations, establish priorities and

sequences for manufacturing products.
• Uses independent judgment to manage capacity planning and in-process execution with manufacturing departments.
• Uses independent judgment to analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine optimum level of efficiency.
• Track actual production and inventory in order to better plan, interpret variances and correct problems.
• Develops, manages, and maintains support programs and databases as required for the efficient storage, retrieval and utilization of data.
• Uses independent judgment and responsible for scheduling work center activity using knowledge of operational commitments, desired inventory levels, and allocation plans.
• Is responsible for coordinating activities with staff throughout the company to ensure timely delivery to customers by obtaining agreement for product ship dates.
• Lead periodic meetings with production management and customer service personnel to coordinate production plans.
• Review production and operation reports to identify potential constraints and propose solutions.
• Develop master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts, manufacturing sequence or customer orders.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Is responsible for developing solutions to product shortfalls, developing a course of action and communicating this information to management, sales, production, and maintenance.
• Identifies scheduling bottlenecks, develops solutions and implements improvements to enhance the scheduling process.
• Allocate material to work centers to meet production requirement while optimizing productivity and recovery.

Qualifications
• Two years of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team
