Summary:
The Project Management role is centered on growing and expanding City Electric Supply's presence with Strategic and National customers. The candidate will identify and develop customers throughout the US, leveraging CES's 550+ branches and five distribution centers. In this fast-paced position, the ideal candidate will be professional, well-organized, and able to solve problems, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with our services, solutions, and products.
You will work directly with our Business Development Managers to offer customer-focused solutions, enabling us to provide superior service and win business. The Strategic Accounts Group serves as a centralized resource and point of contact for stakeholders, allowing us to develop "outside the box" solutions and maximize our existing nationwide branch network and distribution centers.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage projects by overseeing all aspects of supplying lighting fixtures, electrical distribution equipment, and miscellaneous items while ensuring each job file is set up according to established standards and all documentation is properly filed utilizing Monday.com.
Manage all aspects of supplying lighting fixtures/electrical distribution equipment/misc.
Effectively review and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings.
Retain a professional/friendly business relationship and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, company sales team, estimators, and company management team.
Interact with manufacturers and factory sales reps to produce competitive and timely pricing.
Determine costs and sell amounts to maintain appropriate margins.
Interact with contractors to follow up on pricing.
Compile and analyze information from vendors.
Manage project budgets while ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
Submittal preparation including operation and maintenance manuals at end of job.
1-2 years customer service experience - electrical/lighting industry preferred.
