Job Title: Solutions Data Architect

Job Summary:
The Solutions Data Architect is responsible for creating articulating and maintaining the solution data architecture for enterprise-wide data projects.
This role will be working on dynamic projects across the organization to architect modern scalable and innovative data driven solutions that enable insights and capabilities to drive client's business strategy
This role works closely with data engineering product and engineering partners to build an enterprise data architecture to support our business needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with product resources to execute on the design of data architecture to support business and product requirements
Partner with platform and application architecture leads to create data architecture and enhance the overall project design
Maintain and enhance data architecture as requirements and product enhancements are delivered in an agile fashion
Design and architect data solutions for data availability reliability integrity and security
Architect data solution with cost effective cloud first design
Build data architecture integrations that work with the Google Cloud Platform services data flow big query gcs
Integrate new data requests with existing data models to enhance the BI and semantic layers of data
Become an expert data platform and methods of data ingestion and delivery to enable the build out of repeatable data architecture design process for the broader data engineering teams
Build strong relationships with strategic software and platform vendors and service providers
Delivery of tasks in an agile environment
Fosters the client's Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of client's vision and unity of purpose
Participate in special projects and performs additional duties as required
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science information systems or a related field Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
6 years in an enterprise data architect position design enterprise data solution
5 years in software or data engineering technical architecture or related
Proven experience in designing data architecture to support enterprise applications
Proven experience architecting and developing data cloud solutions preferably in GCP
Comprehensive experience in data modeling data management and data integration
Experience working with data engineering teams to deliver on data architecture design
Experience using Agile methodology to deliver on technical projects
Working knowledge in multiple data management capabilities including
Cloud Data Warehousing such as Google BigQuery Snowflake or equivalent
Data Integration tools like FiveTran Qlik Informatica SAP SLT or equivalent
Streaming platforms dataflow Kafka kinesis or equivalent to EDW
AI or GenAI experience is a plus
Experience with Customer Data Platforms preferred

Proven data design and data architecture delivery on enterprise-wide projects
Displays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals
Deep technical skills in data domain
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ownership of desired outcomes
Self-directed and able to work independently and collaboratively in matrixed team environment
Ability to build productive partnerships with business and technology teams

Agile experience and ability to prioritize work
