Responsible for managing the teams and taking a "hands-on" role in the development of information technology projects for the California Chamber of Commerce.Includes development, implementation, and maintenance of internal and external information technology applications, web systems, programs, and websites. This includes the production and management of select website content, as well as content management and e-commerce applications and systems. Major project activities managed include formulation of system scope and objectives, demonstrating detailed knowledge of the business, preparing detailed specifications, and creating technical application documentation. Responsible for leading all phases of application development and maintenance projects including system analysis, programming, and testing. Position understands IT structure and the responsibilities of the other areas and units that impact assigned projects or maintenance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
8 to 10 years of experience in application development required.
Must have experience working with the following technologies: Significant "Microsoft-based" technology experience required, specifically the .NET Core platform, MS SQL Server database programming and administration, application vendor packages, CMS programming and administration, web server software packages, MS Azure Cloud Platform, Web Services Development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON), C#, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), CSS, Javascript/JQuery/AJAX and other technologies as they are deployed within the Chamber organization.
Experience with project planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project required.
