We are seeking Production Engineering Interns to join our team at Hanwha Advanced Materials. This is a paid internship where you can work alongside production engineers to support the overall strategic initiatives of the manufacturing site and the effective execution of key deliverables. You will gain hands-on experience ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and on-time, while maintaining high-quality standards that meet customer expectations. The ultimate goal is to prepare students for full time employment with Hanwha Advanced Materials as a Production Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist team in analyzing and developing production requirements and plans to ensure efficient production scheduling.
Monitor and maintain raw material, work in progress, and finished goods inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
Assist in coordinating activities required to execute the production plan.
Assist the production team in generating production reports.
Assist in allocating resources such as equipment, labor, and production capacity to ensure effective use and maximize productivity.
Assist in monitoring finished goods' quality and ensuring that quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
Assist in analyzing production data to identify trends, optimize production processes, and improve the production performance of the facility.
Assist the production team in generating production reports.
Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Spring 2025 internship: Jan 2025- May 2025(part time or full time options) with flexible start dates and goal of full time employment upon completion
Paid Internship
Full Time: Monday-Friday, core work hours 1st shift
Part Time: Monday- Friday 1:00PM-5:00PM
Required Qualifications
Able to commute to the Georgetown, TX office location
Completion of Junior year in college
Graduated or currently enrolled in relevant majors such as Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, etc.
Authorized to work in United States
Must be 18 years of age or older
Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and deliver quality work within defined timelines.
