We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of PMO to lead our Project Management Office and drive the delivery of complex projects. This role will be pivotal in standardizing project management processes, fostering continuous improvement, and promoting project management excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in leading project teams, possesses strong strategic vision, and demonstrates exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Provide direction and leadership to the Project Management team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Standardization of Processes: Establish and enforce standardized project management methodologies and practices.
Project Oversight: Oversee all project phases, from planning to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
Team Development: Mentor and coach team members to foster career growth and maximize potential.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure successful project delivery.
Reporting & Metrics: Provide insights and reports on project performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) preferred.
Experience: At least 10+ years in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in Program and Project Management.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep knowledge of traditional project management and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in PPM tools like Asana, Smartsheet, or Planview.
