Who you are:
The Retail Planner will participate in the development of North America store goals and metrics while analyzing sales and profit objectives for all categories (primarily RTW). This responsibility includes assisting with financial plans, product assortment plans, and other retail planning strategies.
What You'll Do:
Participate in strategic support of Monobrand Sales Plan for North America.
Establish and monitor sales goals and incentive KPIs.
Develop a strong partnership and collaboration with retail store managers and Italian headquarter partners.
Manage all retail reporting encompassing weekly selling, transfers and overall performance such as-
Weekly sell thru report
Weekly update re: sales by associate versus goal
Weekly update store sale versus plan and LY
Weekly stock to sales analysis (trend vs. OH TY vs. LY)
Weekly shipping analysis
Collect and analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal retail sales data to identify risks/opportunities within the business.
Work with wholesale business analysts to align Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly planning reports on KPIs.
Partner with buying team to suggest seasonal category reorders/transfer to buying team for reorder purposes.
Create a merchandising road map for the season based on financial targets and retail analysis that includes category penetration planning, style and sku counts.
Create and maintain OTB - including accurate forecasting of sales by store/category to drive sales plans by category based on historical data/trends and company expectations
Analyze gross margin implications.
Support buying team with relevant reports and data needed to assess budget OTB, pre buy selling tool management and purchase projections based on seasonal sales results
Create and update ad-hoc business reports and analysis as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required (Operations, Business or Supply Chain preferred)
3-5 years of retail planning, inventory management or production planning experience in a luxury retail environment
Experience in a business analytics and a reporting/planning capacity
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with retail operating systems and Point of Sale (POS) systems
Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively to deliver timely and impactful results.

As required by New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000-$90,000 Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
