Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in collaboration with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Ensure contracts with owners, agencies, primes, and subcontractors are accurate and in place.
Project Setup: Assign job numbers, establish budgets, and set up projects in the system.
Pre-Construction Activities: Make initial contact with stakeholders, attend pre-construction meetings, and submit critical path schedules.
Resource Coordination: Arrange materials, trucking, permits, and staging areas to support smooth project execution.
Document Management: Review specifications, assist with RFIs, and ensure timely and accurate processing of project documents.
Financial Oversight: Approve accounts payable invoices, process subcontractor payments, and submit billings and invoices.
Project Monitoring: Track project progress, manage material usage, and address change orders.
Reporting & Closeout: Conduct month-end reviews to ensure all costs and revenues are accurately recorded.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in construction project management.
Familiarity with project management software and systems
Strong understanding of construction documentation, permits, and financial processes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate with various teams and manage competing priorities effectively.
