The Benefits and Time Management Specialist will oversee employee benefits administration and time-tracking processes, ensuring compliance and smooth operations. This role serves as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries and leave management, collaborates with payroll for accurate deductions, and ensures vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities: • Benefits Administration: Manage benefits enrollments, changes, and open enrollment processes. • Employee Support: Respond to inquiries about benefits, Vacation, Sick, Sabbatical, and FMLA. • Vendor Coordination: Work with providers to manage claims and resolve issues. • Time Management: Track attendance, PTO, and leaves; ensure compliance with internal policies. • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with ACA, COBRA, and FMLA. Prepare reports for internal audits and reviews. • Collaboration: Work with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and coordinate leave tracking.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • 1-5 years of experience in benefits administration and time tracking. • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity). • Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and other relevant laws. • Strong organizational and communication skills.
