EPC company (Engineer, Procurement and Construction Management).
The projects managed are primarily in the Construction Product Industry and the Metallurgical Industry. The Company masters manufacturing processes, develops, sells and builds full or partial solutions of manufacturing lines for these Industries.
Once a contract is won, the full project is placed under the responsibility of a Project Manager.
The successful candidates must have:
Engineering degree is required (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Robotic Engineering).
Natural leadership skills while working in a small team environment.
Have a high sense of initiative!
Must be well organized.
Have good communication skills.
Have a natural curiosity for the technical aspects of the projects.
Must also be willing to travel on a regular basis, both in the USA and abroad.
A US passport is required.
5+ years of project management experience in a traditional manufacturing industry or in the construction industry.
EPC experience a plus.
The Project Manager is expected to plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate construction/installation of engineered solutions as provided by the Company engineering design team, manage human resources involved in the construction/installation process, and make sure that all safety, legal and statutory requirements required by the project are met.
Key performance Indicators
Safety is the Project Manager's first priority.
Make sure that all work performed on a Job Site meets the safety procedures in place.
Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Effectively apply and enforce project standards.
Ability to read and understand drawings and job specifications.
Maintain schedule to ensure a timely completion of project to the contracted timeline.
Maintain and manage project budget.
Issue quotation requests, bid analysis and purchase orders.
Develop supplier relationships that support the supply chain.
Verify quality and accuracy of materials and equipment supplied.
Maintain a quality control program.
Meet customer satisfaction for each project.
Other Skills Required
The Project Manager is expected to be able to bridge the gap between different languages and cultures. He/she also has to be pro-active, in collaboration with Company technical experts, in appraising various technological solutions for sourcing the best solutions globally to meet the nominated project requirements in a cost-effective manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including; outlook, project, excel and word.
With up to 40%+ travel to project sites in the US and abroad, this role offers the opportunity to gain international exposure and work across different cultures and languages.
