- Proven experience as a Mainframe DB2 DBA with hands-on experience in DB2 for z/OS.
- Strong understanding of DB2 architecture, utilities, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in SQL and DB2 command language.
- Familiarity with DB2 tools for monitoring, tuning, and reporting.
- Experience with mainframe environment (z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, etc.).
- Knowledge of backup and recovery methodologies, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving database performance or availability issues.
- Ability to write and maintain documentation related to DB2 systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in cross-functional teams.
