Summary: Assists with planning, scheduling, and coordination of the Harness & Hose Shop production and shipment schedules, as directed by the Repair Shop Manager. Maintains optimally efficient inventory of production materials with an emphasis on meeting on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plan and coordinate all manufacturing activities within the Harness & Hose Shop, as directed by the Repair Shop Manager.
Plan and adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, if/as applicable.
Provide, analyze, and maintain production status reports, including relevant issues to management for resolution.
Coordinate with different departments to plan and adjust production needs.
Assists with monitoring and sequencing the performance of production work orders including timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
Assists with managing, coordinating, issuing, and tracking components in Inventory, including cycle counts.
Assists with planning and purchase of component parts (Harness shop) in accordance with demand and forecasted needs.
All administrative activities related to Purchasing, Production & Inventory Control, including item masters, inventory locations, work definitions, etc.
Maintains standard processes for supporting and adhering to ERP System, as applicable.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (BS) or one or more years of related experience and/or training in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate (per FAR Part 65.101). Capable of obtaining DMIR certification (per FAR Part 183.31 and Order 8100.8).
