Job Description:
This is a contract position. Location: Tualatin, OR - Onsite
Assignment Length: 1 year
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform various document control functions to support a project or department under the guidance of the project or program manager.
- Coordinate the flow of documents among operations, engineering disciplines, construction teams, and other groups.
- Manage document control processes for small projects or specific aspects of larger projects.
- Utilize knowledge of document management workflows and electronic systems to manage documentation effectively.
- Maintain organized project files for document retention.
- Collaborate with field staff to review daily and weekly reports, ensuring accuracy and proper distribution to stakeholders.
- Assist with updating manuals, engineering documentation, and project submittals.
- Review and process project documents, including drawings, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Provide support for the contracting process and preparation of Risk Management Plan documentation.
- Coordinate project needs and communicate requirements with various stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation during construction, including handling submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Change Order Requests (CORs).
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding action items and deadlines.
- Support project closeout activities as needed.
- Populate and maintain an online repository for project information, ensuring accessibility for field teams.
- Perform other administrative or technical tasks related to project needs.
- Contribute as a team player with a focus on meeting deadlines and collaborating effectively with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least three years of relevant work experience, or a four-year college degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with project personnel and management.
- Knowledge of identifying and managing technical engineering documents such as drawings and specifications.
- Working experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
