Job Overview - Project Manager (MEP):

Lead with impact as a Project Manager (MEP) with our client in Philadelphia, PA, driving the successful execution of healthcare and higher education construction projects. This mid-level role empowers you to inspire project teams, manage schedules, costs, and risks, and deliver exceptional results with precision and quality.

Compensation: $125,000 - $140,000/year + bonus

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities as the Project Manager (MEP):
  • Project Leadership: Manage operations, ensuring execution, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and mentoring of APMs and superintendents.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, leading OAC and subcontractor meetings to maintain alignment.
  • Team Management: Train and manage project team members to ensure compliance with responsibilities and company procedures.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage financial aspects, including billing, budget tracking, change orders, cash flow projections, and cost control measures.
  • Progress Monitoring: Create, monitor, and update project schedules, implementing recovery strategies to minimize delays.
  • Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor negotiations, prepare scopes of work, and issue contracts efficiently.

Qualifications for the Project Manager (MEP):
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years as a Project Manager, previously an APM, with expertise in healthcare and higher education projects (life science experience a plus).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera, and cost management software.
  • Skills: Proven leadership, time management, and organizational skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Attributes: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
