Change Management Specialist Needed

24 Month Contract working on Apex W2

Job Description:

The Change Management Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing change initiatives to support organizational transformation. The role involves working closely with leadership and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes, with a focus on minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption of new processes or systems. The Specialist will use proven methodologies to guides teams through the change journey, drive engagement and ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change Strategy Development- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for initiatives related to business processes, technologies, and culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement- Identify, assess, and manage stakeholder expectations, ensure effective communications and buy-in at all organization levels.
  • Impact Assessment - Conduct impact analysis, asses change readiness, and identify key challenges and risks to provide targeted support.
  • Communication Planning- Develop clear, concise, and consistent messaging for different audiences, supporting awareness and understanding of changes.
  • Training and Support- Design Training materials and deliver sessions to ensure teams and individuals are equipped to adapt to change effectively.
  • Monitoring and Feedback - Track the progress of change initiatives and provide feedback to improve the process. Implement mechanisms to measure adoption, usage, and proficiency.
  • Collaboration- Work closely with leadership and other departments to align change management activities with overall project timeless and objectives.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)).
  • Experience with business process design and re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of banking industry operations, systems, and regulatory considerations.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives in financial services.
