Job Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Director IT - Global Commercial & Enterprise Analytics, the Senior Manager of Global Commercial & Enterprise Analytics will help develop and implement the strategy, architecture, and solutions for our Global Commercial organization.

The candidate will have experience in delivering digital solutions to enable commercialization of new products, market entries and other common industry dynamics (e.g. roles, alignments, affiliations, hierarchies), as well as excel in vendor management and execute technically at an individual level; manage multiple projects and lead parallel initiatives (integrate new data sets, build prototypes, etc.).

In addition, the ideal candidate will have a hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to juggle the priorities of multiple business partner organizations and projects while supporting the ongoing technology environment in a young organization experiencing rapid user growth.

This role is based in our Lexington office. Our office-based employees follow a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Manage and provide technical direction for the Data Lake and Data Warehouse
  • Ensure the current technologies (AWS, Matillion, Snowflake and Tableau) are utilized appropriately
  • Keep abreast of the latest data and analytics techniques and capabilities, leading the implementation of new capabilities and standard methodologies
  • Develop and maintain the Data Architecture, Data Lineage, and Data Governance
  • Identify areas of opportunity to automate and / or revamp current process.
  • Oversee all technical development performed by external vendors and ensure it follows the strategic and technical direction set by Kiniksa IT
  • Work with vendor to establish technical processes to ensure that data, reports and dashboards are published according to agreed upon schedule
  • Lead data onboarding and data warehouse enhancement projects, including integration of email campaign data, de-identified patient information or machine learning programs.
  • Work with the Commercial Analytics team and external vendors to create and maintain the roadmap for enhancements to our data architecture and analytics capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes, in partnership with the Business, that follow all applicable laws (e.g. HIPAA) and Kiniksa' IT policies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, or a related work experience is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years of biotech or pharma experience in IT, analytics, and data management
  • 4+ years of expertise in cloud-based database platforms, SQL-based data warehouse design

and data modeling (AWS and Snowflake preferred)
  • 4+ years of expertise with Data Integration platforms (Matillion preferred)
  • Working knowledge of standard pharmaceutical data sources (such as Rx, HCP/HCO demographics, formulary, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience with Master Data Management concepts and platforms (Veeva Network preferred)
  • Experience with Tableau and Salesforce is strongly preferred
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and the ability to communicate complex technology concepts to the Business in a manner that relates to their goals and objectives.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate and complete multiple projects efficiently, on time and within budget in an environment of challenging and changing priorities
  • Compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures that govern the conduct of Kiniksa activities
