We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our food production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, a solid understanding of food safety regulations, and the ability to manage a team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Team Management: Manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve operational efficiency.
Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of plant utilities, along with building and grounds.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the food production industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
HACCP certification required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
Exposure to loud noise levels.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced food production environment.
Exposure to varying temperature and humidity conditions.
