About the Position:
The Manager, Sales Development will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. Day to day responsibilities include 1:1 coaching, mentoring, strategy development, and collaboration with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and the executive team to drive positive outcomes. As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will help build and refine ImageTrend's sales development motion.
What You'll Do:
Lead, foster and retain a high-performing team, including helping attract and recruit top talent, overseeing daily rep activities and quota performance of SDRs to meet key performance metrics
Ensure SDRs understand ImageTrend's product value, buyer personas, competition, and tools by training with role-plays, self-paced assignments, or other methods
Develop and execute career development and role progression plans for direct reports, including 1:1 mentoring, coaching on skills such as time management, objection handling, prospecting tactics, active listening and other competencies needed for growth
Collaborate with sales and marketing counterparts on pipeline and prospecting initiatives to meet company objectives
Provide updates on team performance and forecasts or other reporting as requested to senior leadership
Enhance team output and efficiency by optimizing systems, processes and offering ideas for improvement
Create a library of prospecting resources or other reference materials for the SDR team
Represent the Sales Development team in cross-functional or other leadership meetings
Travel to orientation, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as required
Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Experience in sales as a quota-carrying individual contributor, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals
Experience building and leading collaborative sales development teams, with a proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding goals
Demonstrated success in an outbound or new business lead generation sales environment that uses a fast-paced, results-oriented Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, preferably in SaaS or a similar industry
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to facilitate meetings, present, influence and articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to key stakeholders, including executive leaders
Ability to plan and develop tailored performance guidance for each team member that enables career and professional growth
Proficiency in sales technologies, including MS Suite, data analytics, email and call automation platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, Excel, Outlook, or other similar tools
Ability to leverage data to drive decisions, create systems, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and increase results
Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
Ability to travel as required, up to 25%
