Overview
The Clinical Research Associate will work closely with the Clinical Core and other OADRC core leaders, as well as the center administrator, to manage study operations and logistics across center cohorts. They will coordinate clinical research protocols, personnel and monitor research data. In collaboration with other study personnel, they will conduct study visits, screen, consent, enroll and retain research participants. The position will support and/or conduct blood sample collections for center cohorts. They will also collaborate closely with the ORE Core and other study staff to meet recruitment and inclusion goals, especially for the new center imaging initiatives.
This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to complete complex and detail-oriented duties while working closely with research participants, clinicians, investigators, and other study staff. This work requires the use of independent judgement, problem solving skills, project and time management.

Responsibilities
Master's Degree in relevant field AND 3 years of clinical research coordination experience OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field AND 5 years of clinical research coordination experience
Previous human subjects research experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs
Data management experience
Phlebotomy experience or willingness to be trained
Demonstrated high level of organization and ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
Self-starter with ability to prioritize work demands and manage time
Ability to speak and communicate clearly, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams
Qualifications
Experience working with older adults
Experience working with cognitively or neurologically impaired individuals
