Job Overview
The Recreational Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing an existing business and developing new customer relations in the pursuit of expanding business. They will lead a team of sales professionals dedicated to the Recreational Vehicle market, with particular emphasis on the OEM segment. They are also responsible for supporting new product development efforts and maintaining relationships with customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coach, develop and manage performance of R.V. sales team.
• Partners with marketing organization on developing and executing market plan.
• Collaborates with marketing leadership on pricing
• Negotiates contract approvals.
• Manages strategic customer and senior level relationships.
• Partners with marketing on sales incentives.
• Drives market share growth:
-Customer acquisition, retention and expansion
-Manages selling expense budgets, account plans and contracts
-Develop account plans
-Manages customer mix & segmentation classification
-Facilitates the forecasting process.
• Develop and communicate new sales strategies and tactics focused on accelerating sales through use of metrics and digital tools and creates strong internal cross-functional relationships to deliver the best solution for our business and our customers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Prior experience in the Recreational Vehicle and/or Marine Markets preferred
• Knowledge of market trends
• Strong executive presence and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to change direction as the market changes
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, engineering or related field
• Prior experience with manufacturing sales required
• Prior experience selling custom products required
• Five years' experience developing business relationships
• Previous sales management experience preferred
Working Conditions
• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
• Work requires overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work up to 60%
