How you will make an impact:



CMD is a $3bn business within the Analytical Instruments Group, which offers chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments serving the academic & government, food & beverage, environmental, pharma / biotech, and clinical markets.


Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, the successful candidate will be an integral member of our CMD FP&A team and will work closely with Divisional and Finance leadership.



What you will do:



  • Lead financial aspects of portfolio analytics, work with strategy team to shift the focus from reporting to analyzing trends to enable growth and recommend capital allocation that enables growth ambition

  • Partner with Marketing and Finance teams to develop digital reporting for vertical marketing structure including EBITA reporting. Owning implementation and adoption of Vertical marketing P&L.

  • Own month and quarter-end executive reporting process on Marketing function.

  • Lead aspects of Divisional functional Marketing operating budgets, ensuring funds are efficiently deployed against prioritized programs

  • Assist with annual planning cycle by facilitating global STRAP/AOP process with the Division and BU FP&A and Marketing teams.

  • Participate in PPI process, driving continuous improvement and digitalization for Finance function


How you will get here:




Education



  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required


Experience



  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of business and Finance experience

  • Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

  • Skilled in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and MS office including Power BI

  • Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accuracy of information and meet timeline with little supervision.
