Learning and Development Coordinator
You will support the Learning & Development department in the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of training programs for the Dodgeville Distribution Center. Exhibit experience and aptitude to learn and perform in the following areas: processes, systems, technical job skills, and leadership development. The Sr. Coordinator assumes leadership and supervisory responsibilities within the training department comparable to a department Lead. You will primarily support the Dodgeville Distribution Center and other areas as needed.
Position Summary:
• Develops, maintains, implements and monitors training effectiveness with a range of training programs including curriculum, learning guides, posters, handouts and job aides as assigned.
• Works with business partners to schedule trainers or support along with training programs.
• Interviews and selects qualified candidates for assigned training areas. Ensures attendance at applicable leadership trainings throughout the year. Provides support and gives direction to trainers throughout a training program.
• Provides performance feedback to trainees and trainers by documenting performance and writing and delivering performance reviews.
• Assists in the direction and motivation of the department as a team by role modeling the desired commitment to department goals and assisting with projects outside one's area of focus and treating all department members as customers.
• Collaborates and engages with team members in center and remotely as required to ensure consistency, teamwork and open communication.
• Effectively facilitate and lead training programs to small and large groups.
• Demonstrates project management and decision-making skills as well as analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Serves as a leader, including positive role modeling, providing clear direction, promoting and managing change, sharing feedback and coaching.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
• Experience and/or knowledge of needs assessments, data analysis and related program development with writing training programs
• Background in education or related experience with emphasis on adult learning styles. Prior experience with SAP and/or WMS is an asset.
• Experience in goal setting, program development and program evaluation.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent sitting at a workstation up to 6 hours
• Frequent fine finger manipulation keying information and setting up product displays
• Frequent standing up to 3 hours at a time
• Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds
• Occasional sitting while driving up to 3 hours at a time
• Climbing steps, bending and reaching as needed
Willing to travel between locations when required
