Job Title: Associate Director of Promotional Medical Education



Location: Boston (Hybrid)



Job Description



As our new Associate Director of Promotional Medical Education, you will play a central role in preparing the market for Galderma's first-in-class specialty biologic product with multiple indications.


This role is responsible for executing promotional medical educational pre-launch and launch tactics, including speaker programs and supporting advisory boards to ensure a world-class launch in two indications. The role partners closely with key stakeholders within the global and US cross functional teams including field-based sales and TLL teams



Key Responsibilities


  • Support the execution and implementation of impactful P2P marketing and educational pre-launch and launch tactics


  • Support speaker program to include content development, training and execution


  • Implement key field tools enabling program optimization


  • Monitor, analyze and interpret latest trends in the market, competition and product performance; communicate insights and strategic recommendations


  • Lead collaborative touchpoints within matrix enterprise including field intelligence and co-creation project teams


  • Lead project through material approval process


  • Partner with TLL and field teams for engagement planning


  • Support promotional advisory boards as needed


  • Plan and attend key scientific congresses and secure promotional presence (e.g. booth assets, product theaters and distribution of promotional material)


  • Work with KOLs to validate and optimize brand strategies and tactics.


  • Support annual business planning process


  • Collaborate with field and training to develop training plans and support execution of programming


  • Identify emerging trends within community and channels and apply insight to development of initiatives and marketing tactics and/or materials that support a positive experience


  • Manage agency partners o include tactical planning and scope process, budget, and performance.





Skills & Qualifications



  • 5+ years of HCP, Promotional Medical Education and/or Market Development experience for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business with master's degree preferred


  • Experience with launching specialty/biologics for treating chronic conditions preferred


  • HCP, Digital and P2P marketing experience required


  • Past sales/field experience preferred


  • Launch experience required


  • Experience with regulatory/material approval process required


  • Strong ability to understand and translate science


  • Cross-functional experience required, proven track record of collaboration and coordination with key internal and external stakeholders (including external agency partners)


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills: ability to articulate a point of view succinctly and effectively to senior leaders and external customers


  • Comprehensive analytical/strategic thinking skills; demonstrated ability to utilize data in fact-based decision-making (data to insights, to action).


  • Ability and confidence to work effectively and with a sense of urgency across a global matrix enterprise, and to influence without authority


  • Adaptability, resilience and tenacity and ability to quickly pivot


  • Proficient in English, MS Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


  • Availability to travel >20% time
