The Bank's 12th District Facilities Management group is looking for a Project Manager to join their Construction Project Management team. The Construction team is responsible for improving and creating safe and innovative office-space environments through effective management of the design and construction activities at both the head office building in San Francisco and the Los Angeles Branch.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Facilities. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and committed to meeting the best industry standards. Solid communications, problem solving skills, and ability to develop meaningful long-term relationships are essential.

Please Note:

Applicants must be willing to travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles to manage projects simultaneously at both locations. 

Travel is expected (approximately 50%)

You will:


  • Develop and communicate scope of work to a diverse audience made up of end-users, stakeholders, and vendors


  • Assist with the development and management of project budgets and change requests.


  • Work with the Procurement Department in the selection and engagement of professional consultants/contractors. Includes preparation of all bid instructions, host bid walks, respond to bidder questions, and conduct bid analysis/evaluations.


  • Execute established building standard practices utilizing appropriate fixtures, finishes, and furnishings


  • Facilitate drawing and specification reviews with end-user and stakeholder representative(s)


  • Leverage understanding of project sequencing to be able to create and manage project schedules


  • Identify project risks and apply mitigation plans when needed


  • Communicate and report project status with team members


  • Coordinate design process and construction activities which will include vendor building access


  • Facilitate collaboration with the project team to refine design and resolve construction issues


  • Inspect and evaluate construction progress to ensure project complies with the approved project plans and specifications


  • Maintain as-built records drawings and record of project files


  • Work effectively on multiple projects at the same time


  • Forecast potential construction disruption and formulate plans to minimize impacts for building occupants


  • Oversee all financial aspects of a project including budgeting, contracts, invoicing, and change orders


  • Understand and familiarize with standard contract language and use effectively for successful implementation


  • Complete other duties as assigned

Mid-Level Construction Project Managers typically require the minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.


  • 5+ years' experience, 3+ years of related experience in Project Management and/or Construction Management delivering projects, project cost estimates and budgets, efficient use of consultants, project scheduling, and contract administration. 


  • Experience may substitute for education. 


Preferred:


  • Bachelor’s in Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction Project Management.


  • Experience working in highly secured environments and user-occupied facilities.


Senior Level Construction Project Managers typically require the minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.


  • Typically requires 8+ years' experience, 5+ years related experience in Project Management and/or Construction Management delivering projects, project cost estimates and budgets, efficient use of consultants, project scheduling, and contract administration.


  • Experience may substitute for education. 


Preferred:


  • Bachelor’s or above in Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction Project Management.


  • Experience working in highly secured environments and user-occupied facilities.


Sr. Construction Project Manager’s Hiring Salary Range: 

Base Salary Range: Min: $105,300 Mid: $136,700 Max: $168,100 (Location: San Francisco)

Mid-level Construction Project Manager’s Hiring Salary Range:

Base Salary Range: Min: $87,100 Mid: $113,100 Max: $139,200 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
