Job Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for working with residents who are interested in creating businesses. Facilitates entrepreneurial program for cohorts of residents as well as one on one advising. Leads interested residents from planning to business license.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists in the facilitation of the business development program for CHA residents and participants.
• Facilitates group and individual sessions with resident owned businesses.
• Co-plans and hosts events for ROBs for mentorship and networking.
• Facilitate trainings and workshops as needed.
• Prepares regular reports of programming activity.
• Tracks all ROBs and maintains database of activity.
• Partners with other business development programs to link ROBs to offer additional training opportunities and elevate awareness and promote opportunities for additional training, access to capital and development.
• Assists in creating and maintaining a learning resource center for resident owned businesses.
• Ability to effectively conduct their assignments independently and within a team.
• Demonstrates ability to problem solve, plan, and organize.
• Handles multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and responds to change in a positive manner.
• May be asked to handle tasks outside of job description to meet broader goals of CHA and Resident Services.
• This position requires working hours outside of CHA's established hours of 8a-5p Monday-Friday.
• Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a bachelor's degree in business management with a minimum of two (2) years of job-relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and four (4) years of job-related experience. Must be a skilled facilitator and knowledgeable in subject matter. Must have demonstrated business acumen and a keen understanding of the entrepreneurial path. Previous entrepreneurial experience a plus.

Must possess excellent written, verbal, and Interpersonal communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work Independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Must be available for evening and weekend outreach events, trainings and workshops as assigned. Must be able to work well with internal and external stakeholders and clients in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary Range: $60,000 - 65,000
