Robert Half Technology is searching for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator for a client headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is a 6-month contract to hire, 40 hours per week, and is 100% on-site in Lexington.
The Cloud Administrator will provide vision and leadership for developing and supporting IT infrastructure. In this role, the Administrator will oversee the company's tech-stack and cloud-related strategies and ensure that all systems are optimal and operating effectively
Job Description:
Ensure the integrity and stability of IT services by monitoring system performance, and error messages, coordinating planned maintenance, responding to system outages, and providing root cause analysis.
Manage the deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, networks, databases, and software applications.
Enhancing cloud infrastructure by designing cloud infrastructure to be highly redundant and secure.
Configure and Maintain Cloudflare settings for optimal website performance and security.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cloudflare solutions into web applications.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and implement IT solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity to ensure the company's technology stack remains up-to-date and secure and provide recommendations.
Assess and resolve incidents or problem tickets for a variety of technical solutions and equipment.
Configure and deploy IPS/IDS-enabled firewalls, ASA firewalls, routers/switches, virtual & physical servers, and other equipment within the company infrastructure.
Implement, communicate, and enforce company security policies and procedures.
As required, perform periodic security compliance auditing, assessments, and reviews.
Work extended hours as required to meet business requirements or resolve issues.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24 x 7 support and perform required checklist activities while on-call.
Required:
Proven experience in IT system administration both on-prem and in cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of network architecture, database management, and IT security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
Work Environment: This role typically operates in an office environment and may require occasional travel to different company sites for system installations or support.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Experience with Deployment and configuration of Active Directory including managing Group Policy.
Experience with Cloudflare, supporting an eCommerce environment.
Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure including Azure, GCP, or AWS.
Experience with enterprise data backup solutions.
Experience with managing EDR, NGAV, or Allow-Listing software.
Experience with Incident response management.
Experience with Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 email.
Familiarity with Cisco network hardware configuration and support.
Familiarity with VOIP technology.
Familiarity with enterprise mobile manager solutions (e.g. MobileIron, AirWatch).
Familiarity with PowerShell and/or PowerCLI.
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools like Nagios or SolarWinds.
