Job Summary
The Modality Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of one or more Radiology modalities located within the NSMC Radiology department and off site locations. This manager, along with the modality technical lead, will be responsible to ensure the smooth operational management of their respective departments as well as the budgetary and strategic results for the modality. The modality manager will be relied upon by Radiology management to be the subject matter expert for the modalities they oversee and is expected to keep apprised of regulatory and industry trends specific to that modality and be able to educate and update any modality specific changes or improvements to staff and Radiology leadership. This manager must possess critical thinking and good communication skills, exhibit professionalism, demonstrate leadership, and build successful relationships within the department and throughout NSMC.



Qualifications


Required: - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, fiscal management, people management, relationship building, CPR certification, Process Improvement training. - At least 3 years experience supervising employees - Associates Degree - Must be certified and possess a valid licensure to practice in the Modality being managed. Preferred: - Previous management experience - Bachelors Degree or higher
