Your Role
A Packaging Operator 1 at Millipore Sigma will gain a general understanding of the production environment and be exposed to various systems within the company. The role requires the ability to read and follow SOPs, MMPs, and BOMs. In the position, Packaging Operator 1 will also work with dispense pumps, pipettes, and some automated equipment. As an entry-level role, tasks will be performed under the supervision of a Team Lead. Hours of Operation Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm CST. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Pulling kit components and packing kits
Quality checks and document completions
Effectively work in a quality systems operations
Communicate process deviations and articulating corrective actions
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Follow and understand operating procedures
Able to do basic math and counting to large numbers without errors
Effectively learn multiple production operations and adjust to new tasks
Communicate both in written and verbal in report production information
Proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Experience working with ERP systems
