Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:




Scrum Facilitation:



  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

  • Ensure that the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.

  • Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.


Coaching and Mentoring:



  • Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices.

  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile team members.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.


Impediment Removal:



  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.

  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution within the team.

  • Escalate issues to higher management when necessary.


Stakeholder Management:



  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and risks.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships.


Metrics and Reporting:



  • Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time.

  • Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.

  • Provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders.


Agile Transformation:



  • Support the organization's Agile transformation initiatives.

  • Advocate for Agile principles and practices across the organization.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Agile training programs.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification; Advanced certifications (e.g., CSP, SAFe) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.




Preferred Skills:



  • Experience in the healthcare or financial services industry.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Working Conditions:



  • This position may require occasional travel.

  • Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid work environment.
