Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Application & Web Services, the Microsoft 365 Manager is primarily responsible for administering and providing oversight for the Microsoft 365 tenant and maintaining existing client SharePoint sites. The Microsoft 365 Manager also provides training for end users on Microsoft products and SharePoint applications. Other duties for the Microsoft 365 Manager include gathering user requirements and developing SharePoint applications, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate workflows; providing support and troubleshooting user issues with Microsoft 365 applications.
Job Duties
* Provide oversight for the campus SharePoint site and Microsoft 365 tenant
* In coordination with the Director and Chief Information Officer, identify current processes (across all platforms and modes - digital, subscription based, paper, etc.) that can be enhanced or, preferably, replaced with SharePoint/Microsoft 365 applications
* Remain current on leading trends in and related to SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications as operations and business solutions
* Develop SharePoint applications to replace processes where applicable
* Provide support for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 end users
* Develop, provide, and schedule training for end user on use of SharePoint applications and Microsoft products
* Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability
* Gather user requirements, then plan and develop SharePoint applications
* Maintain/sustain existing client SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items)
* Develop and support Microsoft Forms and Power Automate workflows
* Administration, support and configuration of Microsoft 365 across the College
* Troubleshoot user issues with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications
* Troubleshoot various Microsoft 365 issues including connectivity and mobility
* Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings
* Develop and maintain documentation
* Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
* Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution
* Two years of experience developing applications
* Experience with the Microsoft 365 environment
* Experience providing end-user support
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
* Experience developing SharePoint applications
* Three years of experience working in a higher education setting
* Experience in innovating to streamline and create efficiencies in operations and business processes using technology
* Conversational ability or fluency in a second language
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Technology Skills: MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems
* Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
* Ability to quickly learn new technology
