Global Technical Training Manager at TSI
The Global Technical Training Manager will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, implement and evaluate training programs for company personnel, channel partners and customers. These programs will drive global business growth, while ensuring high enterprise customer satisfaction and a strong, consistent brand reputation. These initiatives will strengthen application and technical support, expand the knowledge base and equip sales teams to navigate complex, high-value deals with long sales cycles.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:
Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the training needs of personnel, channel partners and customers.
Training Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive training strategy aligned with enterprise customer expectations and business growth initiatives. Identify opportunities to monetize training.
Training Program Design: Design and develop a complete, consistent and controlled training program. Use training methodologies to address identified needs. Implement a system for maintaining training records.
Training Delivery: Deliver training - manage and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions globally. Ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Training Content Creation: Manage the creation and development of engaging materials, such as presentations, e-learning modules and videos. Ensure content is relevant, up-to-date and aligned with growth initiatives of the business, enabling the high expectations of our customers to consistently be met.
Training Evaluation: Use assessments, surveys and feedback to measure, improve and adjust training programs.
Training Coordination: Organize training sessions, venues and resources globally.
Training Metrics and Reporting: Measure training program impact and value; present findings to key stakeholders.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to enhance and continuously improve training methods.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with marketing leaders, subject matter experts and regional training resources, channel partners and customers to ensure alignment of all training programs with organizational goals and objectives.Leverage expertise and insights, facilitate resource allocation, gain buy-in and support and promote continuous improvement.
Alignment of Training Programs: Engage stakeholders to tailor training to specific needs and challenges of different groups and tailor training programs accordingly.
Expertise and Insights: Work with subject matter experts to ensure accurate, relevant, up-to-date and practical content. Use real-world examples and best practices.
Resource Allocation: Identify and secure necessary resources, such as budget, training materials, technology and facilities.
Buy-in and Support: Involve key stakeholders in planning to encourage participation and foster a positive training culture. Collaborate with engineers, sales teams, product managers and leadership to align training with business goals.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback to refine and enhance future training program effectiveness.
What Do You Need?
Required
Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, engineering or a related field
5+ years in training or learning & development (L&D), preferably in a technical or engineering-focused industry
Proven track record of successfully developing, deliveringand managing training programs
Expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated leader with proven technology proficiency and data driven decision making
Patient, analytical, creative, persistent and organized
Desired
Master's degree in Business Administration, Learning & Development, Organizational Leadership or related field
Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
*Travel required up to 50%, including international

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $100,000 - $115,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
