The company are seeking a registered Mechanical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will contribute to their mission of creating smarter learning environments by providing mechanical engineering solutions for K through to 12 and higher education clients across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience or training.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess the feasibility of design and its application.
Lead and coordinate the creation of drawings and designs to meet engineering requirements and client specifications.
Design systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Revit.
Design systems that integrate with various hardware and software used throughout the project.
Evaluate site installations and recommend design modifications when necessary.
Pursue continuous professional development by engaging in relevant programs and gaining experience opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent; or four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Revit.
Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
