Cobalt GP Portfolio Monitoring serves as a cornerstone for private capital entities, facilitating the collection, analysis, and reporting of fund and portfolio company financial metrics. Leveraging Cobalt's intuitive technology platform, private equity and venture capital firms streamline their operations, meet the evolving demands of LPs and management, and gain a competitive edge in the market. Cobalt tailors its portfolio monitoring, investor relations, and benchmarking analysis tools according to our clients' size and investment style to match their needs.


The Cobalt Implementation Team is looking for exceptional, highly motivated individuals to join our team as Implementation Specialist to ensure clients achieve the full potential of their Cobalt Subscription. This role requires strong project management, analytical, and communication skills to deliver seamless onboarding and successful implementations.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with clients to develop a comprehensive understanding their goals and objectives for implementing Cobalt.


  • Lead the implementation process, taking full ownership of all assigned the implementations to ensure delivery within the agreed project scope and timeline for clients.


  • Deliver high-quality work by adhering to the best practices when configuring data and workflows in Cobalt.


  • Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product Development, and the India team, to facilitate a smooth implementation and transition for clients.


  • Continuously evaluate and refine implementation processes to improve efficiency and enhance client satisfaction.


  • Stay up to date with Cobalt, industry trends, and competitors to understanding the evolving needs of clients, including market trends and various investment strategies.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, or Business Administration


  • 3+ years of experience in project management required (experience in Private Equity, Private Markets, or financial software is strongly preferred)


  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Strong technical and PC skills including Microsoft Office skills, experience building and working with large data files (Pivots, V-Lookups and Excel-add in)


  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively


  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to clients


  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability


The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $75,000 - $90,000.
