Golden Dog Title is seeking an Escrow Assistant for the Franklin, TN branch. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing real estate documents and maintaining files as needed. This role will work directly with Escrow Officers to oversee all administrative activities required to close real estate builder transactions serving our parent company, Dream Finders Homes, Inc. (NASDAQ: DFH)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Open Escrows, order title commitments and distribute to all parties
Review contracts and process new orders accurately in system
Process lender title requests in a timely manner
Order HOA resale certificates, tax certificates, and document file correctly
Gather invoices for all vendors in contract and label correctly in file
Prepare loan funding packages for lenders
Ship loan packages for lenders in correct stacking order
Upload final documents and label accurately to electronic files
Ability to perform all tasks of a receptionist
Assist Escrow Officers with lender post-closing requests and final policy disbursements
Handle incoming calls and customer service requests from lenders, buyers and agents
Help verify wire instructions with buyers, lenders and other parties to Escrow
Communicate with title insurance representatives, insurance company representatives, loan officer, escrow processors and team members, title company, real estate agents, and clients to assist escrow officer in the closing process.
Read all contracts, commitments, and lender closing instructions to complete them in a timely fashion to ensure escrow closing.
Experience, Skills, Knowledge:
SoftPro knowledge preferred.
Excellent customer service, communication and people skills
Highly organized and detail oriented
One year assistant or administrative support experience, preferably in Escrow
Ability to take instruction and follow through exactly as requested
Ability to handle competing deadlines and prioritize daily tasks with minimal supervision
Desire to learn and grow with a positive attitude
High school diploma or equivalent
