Job Description:

Baer is looking for Multi-Language ETL Developer for a 3+ month remote project.


Title: Multi-Language ETL Developer
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2

Description:

• Design and develop data transformations to meet customer requirements using SAP HANA data warehouses.


• Implement ETL pipelines to calculate metrics from SAP ERP data.


• Create queries to extract data from SAP HANA systems in a performant and efficient manner.


• Design and develop user-friendly reports in Tableau to visualize supply chain metrics.


• Support stakeholders by addressing questions and providing solutions to data issues.


• Troubleshoot queries and implement optimizations to improve performance.


• Conduct peer reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and team standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting.


• Ensure compliance with security standards and protect sensitive data throughout data flows.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL


• Experience with SAP ECC, HANA, or S/4.


• Knowledge of the supply chain domain.


• Experience building ETLs for large data volumes (hundreds of GBs) using Apache Spark.


• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).


• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.


• Experience developing dashboards in Tableau.


• Strong understanding of Git source control.


• Full-stack development skills (frontend, backend, database, and REST/SOAP services).


• Ability to write tests against data, applications, and visualizations.


• Experience supporting a virtual team.


• Experience with Agile development (Scrum, sprints, planning) and tools like Jira.


• Quick learner with the ability to pick up new tools.


• US citizenship (dual citizenship is not permitted).


• Experience with tools like SQL Server, AWS S3, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, TIBCO Data Virtualization.


• Ability to create and optimize queries in TIBCO Data Virtualization.


• Experience with CI/CD development processes.
