BGS is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Jacksonville, Florida to join the Component Operations Team. This individual will assist with the development of build plans, sustainment and improvement of current build architecture, and follow the guidance of an experienced lead.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of production engineering experience
  • Ability to climb aircraft access stairs


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 1+ years' experience in Modification Repair Overhaul (MRO)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $75,650 - $102,350
