Support Operational functions by building relationships, analyzing non-compliance data, and driving improvements.
What will you do?
Leverage Global Supplier Guide as tool to set expectations and influence supplier behavior based upon defined business needs.
Work proactively with suppliers to address compliance gaps, provide direction on expectations, and build collaborative partnerships to achieve compliance.
Apply data and analytics to find opportunities, prioritize where time is being spent, accurately communicate root cause, and demonstrate success from actions taken.
Manage the Supplier's compliance profile to ensure effective communication with decision-makers within supplier organizations.
Respond to Supplier disputes of charge backs by understanding offsets, developing strategic approach, and discussing potential reimbursement that is in line with mission and vision of team.
Build and maintain positive relationships with senior Supply Chain and Commercial counterparts of key suppliers.
Partner with internal customers (Purchasing, Trans, DC Ops, etc) to ensure alignment on efforts being taken and avoid duplication of efforts.
Engage with the Portfolio team during Distribution Agreement discussions to provide support and identify risks related to Supplier Guide T&Cs.
Improve Supplier Guide by adding or clarifying requirements from internal feedback for better customer experience.
Apply PPI tools when appropriate to improve PPI competence and apply established successful methods to achieve goals and produce outcomes.
Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
Maintain accurate tracking of issues and resolution to be used by team members.
How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience:
3+ years' experience working in supply chain or related field.
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and an ability to learn new software tools efficiently.
Familiarity with internal systems, such as Fisher Scientific mainframe.
Understanding of EDI Transactions (850, 855, 856, 810).
Preferred: Supplier/vendor management experience and experience using SQL Server.
