We are looking for an Executive Development Program manager to lead a small to team to design and maintain existing and new programs. The ideal person will be responsible for developing topics and programs from concept to execution and ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic goals and needs. This position will collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, vendor partners to create a world-class learning experience to prepare senior leaders.
Key responsibilities
Program Design & Development: Work with a team to lead the strategic design, planning and launch of leadership programs and workshops for senior leaders. Use simulations and experiential learning to deliver cutting edge solutions to maximize learning impact.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders and business leaders to identify needs and ensure programs/topics meet strategic objectives.
Program Management: Work with a small team to oversee the day-to-day operation of programs including coordinating vendors, facilitators, and other key partners.
Budget and Resources: Develop and manage the program budget and resources to maximize use of relationships while minimizing cost.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of programs through defining an evaluation strategy using feedback, performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess value and impact.
Reporting & Communication: Regularly update HR stakeholders on program progress, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement. Drive consistent and polished program communications.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends in executive development and leadership practices and use of technology to continuously enhance the program's impact and relevancy.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
4+ years of experience in executive development, leadership training, talent management with a proven track record of designing and managing high-level development and senior leader programs.
Desired Qualifications:
Extensive experience and passion to build and deliver programs at the most senior levels of a large, financial organization.
Ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.
Highly effective consultative leader with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence.
Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present and discuss complex information in a way that informs others and enhances understanding at all levels.
Excellent consulting, influencing, collaboration and partnering abilities with business executives/leaders and HR partners.
Experience managing teams and leading teams to deliver.
Knowledge and experience to demonstrate program success and impact through measurement strategies.
Strong understanding of leadership development frameworks, learning methodologies and models to support a contemporary approach for delivering leadership development.
Advanced degree in I/O psychology, HR, Organizational Development or education/leadership.
Experience selecting and partnering with external vendors to deliver content/programs.
