ITS, LLC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Senior System Integration and Test Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and supervision for a 24/7 support capacity at the site of Vandenberg Space Force Base in California The System Integration and Test Engineer develops and executes comprehensive test plans and procedures to ensure software and hardware systems meet requirements, identifies defects, and collaborates with development teams to resolve issues, ultimately ensuring product quality and reliability.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning and execution of integration tests developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
Collaboration and communication with developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to identify, generate, and implement test cases and verification criteria.
Troubleshooting and problem solving by investigating and implementing solutions to product, process, or test problems related to system integration.
Test environment management and maintaining development, test, and production environments, ensuring they are stable and suitable for integration testing.
Analyze system performance during integration tests and identify areas for optimization.
Document test results, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
Provide input and ensure testability and quality of the system during design phases.
Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experienced in Linux commands
Experienced in RF and SATCOM
Experience in Test Readiness Review (TRR) and test reports
Experience in RF measurements and familiar with test equipment not limited to: Spec-A, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, OScope, Sig-Gen
Understand and adhere to drawing requirements for production builds
Experience in updating Vendor Item Description data sheet
Experience with COTS equipment and the identification of Form Fit Function replacements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering discipline with minimum of 6 years of prior related experience or
Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
Appropriate Level Cybersecurity Certification required per DoD 8570/8140 (IAT 1-3, IAM 1-3, or positional certification as specified)
Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI Clearance Required with possibility of SAP/SAR in future needs
