On any given day at First Children Services, we touch the lives of more than 1,000 children and families with a dedicated workforce of over 500 teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, and support staff. Our organization works with 80+ school districts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is approved by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families to provide behavior therapy, counseling, and support services; and is in network with Medicaid and most major insurance companies in NJ and PA.
About the Role
The Director of Content and Learning will be a critical member of the business development team, driving content creation, distribution and new business opportunities for the organization. The position will work with members of the organization to create content with focus around the organization's unique core capabilities with specific emphasis on school districts as the end user. The goal of the position will be to position FCS as a thought leader/expert, problem solvers and value drivers for school district partners, current and new relationships alike. The Director of Content and Learning will develop, present, and distribute learning content with the goal of creating revenue growth across the current customer base and new customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will have an educational and/or clinical background, experience in developing professional development content and have excellent presentation skills. The candidate should have direct experience working within school based behavioral health services (ABA & Mental Health) as well as special education.
Responsibilities
Content Development: Work with various members of the FCS team to create program specific content that serves the purpose of creating professional development opportunities for school districts while showcasing the unique clinical and educational capabilities of the organization.
Content Aggregation: Be primary responsible party in aggregating, organizing and storing all content of the organization, digital and physical alike.
Presentation: Prepare to present organization's content/professional development materials through virtual and in person means. Represent the organization with utmost professionalism and expertise.
Sales and Business Development: Through execution of the professional development strategy, build relationships with current and new customers while developing actionable sales leads to drive new revenue opportunities. Partner with current business development team to meet, present and ultimately close new business.
Relationship Building: Create and maintain relationships with key, decision maker personnel within school districts while positioning FCS effectively as a service provider. Ensure district personnel engage with professional development but also aware of all the services offered by the organization.
Relationship Management: Foster and maintain positive relationships with all current customers of the organization. Position FCS not only for continuing but also growing the relationship with current customer districts.
Represent the Organization: Presenting at events, trade shows, and schools, and increasing and improving our brand.
Working across the Organization: Effectively collaborate across various areas of the organization ensuring all content/PD reflects the diversified capabilities of the company. Work closely with clinical and business development leadership to target outreach efforts while fostering revenue growth.
Qualifications
Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Mental Health/Social work or related fields.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent presentation skills with track record of delivery to various audience sizes.
Experience leveraging various technology platforms and modalities for the distribution of professional development activities.
Experience in business development/marketing preferred
Pay range and compensation package
Base salary will be $85,000 with bonus potential up to 25%.
