Job Summary/Description: The Expense and Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for executing expense report and accounts payable processing in alignment with industry best practices. They collaborate cross-functionally to ensure thorough and accurate processing and report directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Responsibilities:
Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to Company travel and expense policies.
Collaborate with legal to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for healthcare providers.
Serve as a point of contact within the organization for expense report inquiries.
Assist in the annual budget process by providing departmental spend reports.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new expense policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Enter accounts payable invoices in Netsuite, obtain necessary approvals, and monitor invoice status.
Maintain an organized accounts payable filing system on SharePoint and Outlook.
Monitor supplier portals to download and process invoices and statements promptly.
Support the management of the corporate credit card program.
Assist in the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, including support for financial reporting and SOX controls.
Provide necessary departmental or organizational correspondence.
Undertake additional accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.
Provide support for ancillary projects as requested.
