The Events Coordinator position requires an enthusiastic, high energy individual who likes both the details involved in planning an event and also the interpersonal skills required to execute the event. The job entails research, development, planning, executing and clean-up of resort public events.
The Events Coordinator will oversee the events department if the Events Manager is ever off-site. The Events Coordinator position will spend around 50% or more of their time outdoors working. Position must be willing to work all weekends, holidays, early mornings and late nights.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the creation of resort public eventsAssist with the development of creative concepts for event materials (t-shirts, posters, programs, etc.)Assist with sponsorship fulfillmentsAssist with internal communication of eventsTransportation, set-up and tear-down of event venues and equipmentAssist with training and guidance of volunteer crewEvent emcee as requiredWill work with Mountain Events Manager and other departments to increase awareness of TSV special eventsReliable attendance on all scheduled workdays

Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Approximately 50% of this positions time is spent inside, and 50% outside on both level/uneven terrain. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain. The positionwill be required to spend long days outside in cold and snow. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. The position requires at least an intermediate level of skiing/riding ability.
Background Check
Positions dealing with children, of safety sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check
